How is a coach different from a therapist?
Coaches are trained to recognize mental health patterns, however, a coach does not diagnose mental illnesses. While it is important to understand the past, coaches are more focused on healing how the past affects present behaviors, beliefs, reactions, feelings and actions. Coaches search for patterns in their clients and play a role in their client’s understanding and healing, creating opportunities for their future. Coaches can also use other forms of healing during sessions, not just talk therapy.

What does holistic mean?
Holistics are characterized by the treatment of the whole person. Exploring your mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and energetic bodies allows your whole system to heal.

Do I need to talk about my traumatic events to heal them?
No. Even if you have no memories in your mental body of your trauma, healing is still possible. Many people dissociate from their trauma and do not remember certain things. Using a holistic approach allows the parts of you to heal that do hold the trauma.

I’ve been in therapy, why do I still feel stuck?
I want to assure you, you are not doing anything wrong, how you feel is normal. Healing is not linear. It is complex and layered. All of the work you have accomplished has brought you to this point. As new memories, triggers, and awarenesses come up for you, it takes us to a deeper place of understanding. Healing is a journey.
